- LUC LANGEVIN
Illusionist and holder of a bachelor's degree in engineering physics and a master's degree in optics
Everyone dreams of something… but few seriously try to achieve it. That said, are dreams really unattainable? In this conference, illusionist and physicist Luc Langevin will share the process that led him to interrupt a doctorate in biophotonics to become a professional illusionist. With supporting anecdotes and illusions, Luc will explain why science guided him, how the creative process became omnipresent in his life, and how each of his failures led him to realize his childhood dream.

by Stéphane Bourgoin, illusionistDoes magic have its origins in science? This is what Stéphane Bourgoin will attempt to clarify by travelling through History, from Antiquity to the modern era. The illusionist will also share his university career with us, in particular how his studies in mechanical engineering equipped him to become the professional magician he is today. Throughout the conference, the audience will witness short magic effects, all based on scientific principles.
